“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek (non-Jew) (Romans 1:16).
We live in a bad-news world. Hardly anyone will debate that. It would take pages to itemize all the bad news millions are experiencing in the world today.

So, let’s move on to the good news: Yes, there is wonderfully good news available for everyone who believes it! Those who already possess this good news should never be ashamed of it. They should not be coerced into joining the “political correctness” camp or be intimidated to restrict their faith to the private sector of society or be threatened to lose their freedom of speech because they believe the truth and want to share it with others. The Truth is not a concocted narrative, but a historical and theological fact! In other words, it is true! It is something that can and should be believed because it agrees with reality – – that which is (so)!

The word “Gospel” means “good news!” The good news for all times and all peoples is that Jesus Christ, the God-Man, came to earth to die for the sins of mankind and to rise again the third day from the grave. The Good News is that whoever believes Jesus Christ is given eternal salvation as a gift from Him. For them, their sins and guilt are removed, and they have everlasting life promised to them with Christ forever! They no longer will be judged for their sins and will not be condemned by God.
Jesus took their sins on Himself, and with it, the accompanying punishment! There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1)
