“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. …Therefore, if the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:32, 36)
“…and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables (2 Timothy 4:4)
People by the droves are turning away from the truth today. They don’t want to be bothered with the facts. They will turn to different belief systems, to liars, to deceivers, etc. who will (deliberately) lead them astray – – sometimes at a very painful price! Here are some of the facts that many avoid to their own detriment or peril:
- There is only one true authority in this universe, the biblical God
- Everyone is a sinner, declared guilty by this God
- Everyone must die, including the rich and famous
- Everyone will face God’s judgment, except those who have been forgiven by Him
- God has spoken and His Word (the Bible) is true/truth
- Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is the final Judge of the entire world
- This world is not getting better but worse (by the hour)
- All too many seek to avoid or falsify the facts at any cost (many clergy, educators, historians, politicians, etc. are complicit)
- Christ will forgive you if you humbly confess your sins to Him (alone), turn from your wicked ways and receive Him as your Savior
- He is the ONLY way to God and Heaven – – NONE of your nice little works will save you (not even being a “religious” person)
- Eternity is a long time, forever! Will you spend it in Heaven or in Hell? There is no other option! (And by the way, Hell has no “exit” door)
- The way things are going, I wouldn’t waste any time in turning to your ONLY hope for salvation and deliverance – – Jesus Christ! Don’t wait to see what’s “coming down the pike” – – it may be too late, or you may not live that long, and THAT IS THE FACT OF THE MATTER!
