“To God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen” (Romans 16:27)
Before you start blaming God for all the ills in the world or for your own miseries, would you at least consider some critical facts about what God has revealed about Himself – –
- He knows exactly how to apply His full knowledge to any and every situation.
- He created this universe in His wisdom, and He directs His plans for and throughout eternity.
- He never lacks insight, and His involvements are always wise.
- It is absolutely impossible for Him to make mistakes! He can’t, because He Is God. He is perfect in His nature!
- OK, let’s get down to specifics (keeping in mind that true wisdom may be defined as “the application of biblical, divine revelation”):
- True wisdom is found in the person and work of Jesus CHRIST (Colossians 2:2, 3).
- True wisdom is found in COMBINATIONS:
- Wisdom is coupled with divine strength (Job 12:13; Daniel 2:20)
- Wisdom is coupled with knowledge (Romans 11:33)
- True wisdom is found in God’s CREATION (Psalm 104:24; Proverbs 3:19).
Believe me, in the days in which we live, you will need God’s wisdom!!
- Ask Him to give it to you time and time again (James 1:5), and He’ll be glad to give it to you!
- It is a wise thing to begin your quest with Proverbs 9:10: “The fear of the LORD (respect for Him), is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding!” [Wise king Solomon was right about that]!
So, are you still questioning God??
