I. He alone is OMNISCIENT (He knows everything). For example, He knows what has happened or will happen. He knows every thought of every person, past, present, and future. He knows how many grains of sand are on every seashore and how many hairs are on each head! He knows the names of each individual star, and there are billions of them!
“Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is not other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done . . .” (Isaiah 46:9, 10).
II. He alone is OMNIPOTENT (He is all-powerful). Nobody on earth, whether human, spirit being, king or anyone else, has any power greater than He has. He is in total control of every detail of this universe. His power is inherent, all others are derived – – any little power they have comes only from Him! And, He alone who has the power to save you (Romans 1:16)!
“’. . . We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty; the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned” (Revelation 11:17).
III. He alone is OMNIPRESENT (He has the entire universe before Him). Nothing and/or nobody escapes His notice. Nobody can hide from Him. There are no secrets or secret actions of which He is not fully aware!
“The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth” (Psalm 33:13-14).
IV. He alone is ALL-WISE (He knows exactly how to apply His full knowledge to any and every situation). He created this universe in His wisdom and He directs His plans for and throughout all eternity. He never lacks insight and His involvements are always wise. It is impossible for Him to make mistakes – – He can’t, because He is God alone!
“. . . To God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen” (Romans 16:27)!
