1. THE BIBLE, GOD’S WORD, IS ETERNAL!
“Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven” [where man cannot tamper with It]!(Psalm 119:89). “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My (Jesus’) words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
2. BELIEVING JEWS ARE ETERNAL!
“Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night … (the LORD of hosts is His name): ‘If those ordinances depart from before Me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever’” (Jeremiah 31:35, 36). [Compare Zechariah 13:9]!
3. JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH, IS ETERNAL!
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting” (Micah 5:2).
“And now, O Father, glorify Me (Jesus) together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was” (John 17:5).
4. GENUINE CHRISTIANS ARE ETERNAL!
“…I (Jesus) will build My church, and the gates of Hades (Hell) shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18b). “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (I Thessalonians 4:17).
5. JERUSALEM IS ETERNAL!
“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect…” (Hebrews 12:22)
