A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS CARD

“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11)

Just a couple of days ago I received an early Christmas-card from a very special friend. Here is the poem that he sent:

“In humble manger, where the cattle dwell,

A wondrous birth, a miracle to tell.

The Son of God, in swaddling clothes – – so frail.

Born to redeem, to guide, and never fail.

The angels sang, the stars shone bright,

As shepherds came, their hearts alight,

To witness grace, the gift of life,

A child of peace, to end all strife.

In lowly stable, heaven’s grace descends,

A babe so pure, where love transcends,

The promise of salvation, hope’s embrace,

Eternal life, in Jesus’ face.

O, dear family, let hearts rejoice,

For God’s great love, our souls take voice;

In every season, let His love ignite,

The Christmas spirit, burning bright!

Glory to God in the highest!”

May you all have a Blessed Christmas on behalf of Pastor John and Teacher-Feature. Please remember the best gift to give is the Gospel (Good news) of Salvation. [CLICK HERE] for our free downloadable Bible tract. The harvest is plentiful and the workers are few!
