“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”
(Philippians 2:9-11)
I am a strong believer in the permanent resurrection of Jesus Christ! That, in simple language, means that He is alive today! This being the factual case, the question may arise in some minds as to what His current actions or functions are. To answer, I have prepared this article, which references would greatly enhance your understanding, if you would check them out (read and study them)!

I present these in biblical order:
- Jesus Christ (the Messiah), is preparing the unbelieving world (consisting of commoners, nations (Greek word signifies “ethnic groups”), and rulers for his coming judgments, punishments, and wrath against/upon all unbelievers [Proverbs 16:4; Romans 9:22; Revelation 19:11ff.).
- He is exerting His eternal authority and power throughout His universe (Daniel 2:20, 21; 7:13, 14; Matthew 28:18).
- He is eternally present with His followers (Matthew 28:20; John 14:16, 17).
- Jesus is now preparing dwelling places for his followers (John 14:1-3).
- Jesus is praying for you: he prays for unbelievers (John 17:20), as well as for believers (Romans 8:34).
- Jesus upholds the very atoms of this world. He continues to actively hold all things together (Colossians 1:17). He can do that because He is the Creator of all things (Colossians 1:16).
- He (alone) is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him (alone) – – (Hebrews 7:25).
If you are an unbeliever, you are in for a real and rude awakening! It may behoove you to reflect on Acts 2:21. Let me spell it out for you: “And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved!”
And for those who so do, consider this a promise from God Himself!
Thank you for these teacher-features. They are helpful and affirming in my walk with Jesus!!
