“Everyone who is called by My (God’s) name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him” (Isaiah 43:7)
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created” (Revelation 4:11)
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14)

Often those who study Religion concern themselves with ultimate reality issues. These form the basis or foundation of religious studies. I will mention some of these issues below, and then draw conclusions from them:
- Who made me?
- Why am I here? (Meaning and purpose for my existence).
- Who am I (not, what am I)?
- Is there life after death?
- Is there a God and how can I know?
- Who has the right to tell me how to live and enforce what is told?
- Is there a final accountability, judgment, and eternal destiny?
For a religion to qualify as such, it must answer these questions. When that happens, it becomes quite apparent that religions do not and cannot answer all of the above-mentioned issues satisfactorily. There is only one belief-system that provides complete and definitive answers: it is not a religion, but a revelation from the only true God and His Word, the Bible! That revelation has been given so that mankind will be brought into a relationship with the Almighty!
Religions basically only promote what men can do to please or appease their god or gods. Only Christianity, however, offers the free gift of salvation and relationship based on what God alone provided, not any works that puny and insignificant man may offer. God doesn’t want your rituals or works – – He wants your faith and trust in the eternal and living Christ and His Word!

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. (Colossians 1:16–17)
