I have been writing weekly articles for several (secular) newspapers for more than a quarter century now – – over 25 years! I began writing these articles in 1996, writing for a couple of eastern PA newspapers. My very special friend, Brian Lazewski, has graciously developed a website in the past few years on which he posts these articles (teacher-feature.com). So why are we doing this?
Good question!! It is not that we have nothing else to do. It is not that we are bragging – – not by any means! It is not that this isn’t costly (and we’re not asking anyone for a dime – – we won’t)!
Let’s get down to the reason for our publication: It is rather simple – – it is because we care about you! You may have noticed that every article contains a verse or more from the Bible. We believe that there is no hope for anyone outside the Word of the living God! We live in bad times and only God can help us if we are humble enough to accept and believe His Word. You can try any other avenue of help, but it will not avail, try as you may. No religion, science, intelligence mechanism, no bank, no lawyer, etc. can get you out of the mess this world is in. Nobody except Jesus Christ and His Word, the Bible!
I have written these articles and Brian has formatted and posted them, because we care about your soul! These are written for “the man on the street,” to lead him to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! He is man’s only hope – – nothing else and nobody else avails! We care about your eternal destiny: we do not want you to go to the place of eternal torture called Hell, but to the place that Jesus is preparing for all who believe in Him – – Heaven. Don’t wait till things get far worse: Call upon the name of the Lord to save you before it’s too late!
