What If The Bible Is True?

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life” (1 John 5:20)

Have you ever asked yourself the question found above? You see, multitudes of people assume that the Bible is not true. Some claim it is not the Word of God, while others find fault with it. Then there are those who simply parrot what they hear others ignorantly exclaim about these Holy Scriptures given by God Himself. Many simply live under the assumption that the Bible is just another piece of religious literature.

But what if the Bible IS true? What if you’re wrong about your assumptions?
What if God really did create this universe? What if there really is the one and only true God who has chosen to reveal Himself through His Word? What if He does have a Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for your sins? What if He did rise again from the dead and will come back as the Judge of all mankind?

You see, my friend, if the Bible is absolutely truthful in its proclamation, then millions of people are in trouble with the God who is the Supreme Ruler of this universe!! What if He is the all-powerful God, the omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient Lord of all? What if He really sends people to an eternal hell who reject the offer of eternal life through His Son?

Better think about it! Then act on what the Bible says. God is serious when He writes, “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides (remains) on him” (John 3:36). And again, “Most assuredly, I (Jesus Christ) say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me (God) has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).
