“Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure'” (Isaiah 46:9, 10)
What would you say if someone made many predictions hundreds of years ago and they all (100%) came true in minute details? You would have to admit that no human could ever do that – – nobody! (No human can even predict what will happen the rest of the day, much less 2,000+ years in advance)! Right! There’s only One who did, does and can do that, and that is the God of the Bible – – the only (true) God!
Let me give you only a few examples of what He has predicted that did and will come to pass:
- That Jesus Christ, His Son, would come to earth twice (He’s already come the first time, and will return again soon (some 7+ years from now)! (Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7; 19:11ff.)!
- That Jesus Christ will judge every human being who ever lived and that every knee will bow to Him (Philippians 2:9-11)!
- That in these last days things will progressively get worse (not better) (II Timothy 3:13)!
- That only those who place their faith fully in Jesus Christ (and in Him alone) have eternal life assured for them, to live with Him forever (John 6:47). Those who don’t believe, will forever be hopelessly separated from God and suffer incredibly (John 3:18, 36)!
Some very rough times are ahead – – for the entire world! Everything God has ever said or done is true! Time is running out: “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2)! God has given you plenty of notice: So, believe His Word that “…Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved” (Joel 2:32)!
