When God Gets Angry

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed (Christ, Messiah), saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the LORD shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure:

…You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel. … Kiss (embrace) the Son (of God), lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him” (Psalm 2:2-5, 9, 12)

“Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation …when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel (good news) of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power” (II Thessalonians 1:6-9)

“But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” (II Peter 3:7)

BUT,

“The Lord …is longsuffering toward us (you), not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance”   (II Peter 3:9)

While you are still able, repent of your sins, embrace God’s Son (Jesus the Messiah) and trust Him to deliver you and give you everlasting life – – before it’s too late! (Read Revelation 6 – 19 for God’s future dealings).
