Need Some Encouragement or Real Help?

Not too long ago I finished reading the Psalms for the 3rd time (all 150 of them)! If you want a tremendous and incredible pick-me-up from God Himself – – this is it. I’m just going to take some samplings from the first few Psalms to perhaps whet your appetite for additional strengthening of your spirit:

 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1:6

 Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Psalm 2:11

 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around. Psalm 3:6

 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. Psalm 5:11

 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled. Psalm 6:2

 O LORD my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; And deliver me, Psalm 7:1
