You Won’t Believe, This But…

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (I Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Some day in the not-too-distant future, all those who are genuine believers in Jesus Christ will be taken to heaven in the twinkling of an eye (I Corinthians 15:52). It will happen suddenly. Christians all over the world, those who have already died and those who are still living, will be “raptured” or caught up to meet Jesus Christ in the air, Thousands of people will be missing. This will translate into millions of catastrophes. Family members will be missing. Newspaper and magazine headlines will probably attribute the disappearance of these thousands or millions to UFO’s. And this will only be the prelude to the beginning of the worst time this world has ever experienced, better known as “the Tribulation period.”

Of course, a number of you who are reading these lines are scoffing, wondering what kind of a “nut-case” I (and thousands of others who believe this biblical teaching) might be. Perhaps when you wake up some morning and find yourself searching for your loved one(s), you will find that what God predicted was true indeed!

The real question is, will you be one of those caught up to meet Christ in the air, or will you be left behind? Place your faith in God’s Word and God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and you will not be left behind!
