“And he (Job) said, ‘naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed by the name of the LORD’” (Job 1:21).
Tons of materials have rolled off the presses pertaining to this matter of abortion. While some folks are tired of hearing about it, others continue to practice this hideous form of murder (let’s call “a spade a spade”)! Much of this gruesome slaughter goes under the slogan of “a woman’s choice.” But let’s just probe a little further, a woman’s choice to do what? For what reason? With what eternal consequences?? If one is not sure (and Biblically, one can & should be) if that which has been conceived is a human life, a baby, then why risk taking that life? Any more, with modern medical technology, it is very rare when a mother’s life is endangered. So, the only logical conclusion is that to a large degree, abortions are performed for convenience, not necessity!
Whether we talk about abortion or euthanasia or infanticide, let’s remember that the removal of life is God’s prerogative alone, no one else! Mothers, choose life and have a clear conscience before God, to whom you will be directly accountable!
