SEPS: Feb. 3rd and 4th.  (Feb. 4th is a Common Day - all students arrive at 8 a.m. and go home at 2:15 p.m.)   I'll be emailing you more information on Monday of that week.  If you haven't signed up online for an appointment, I'll contact you.

STORYTELLING FESTIVAL:  Cedar Ridge Elementary will host this annual festival on February 25, 2010.  Upper-grade teachers will be holding class competitions, which will feed into grade level competitions.  Two winners from each grade level will compete to be the school Storytetlling champion, who will go on to District and possibly Region competitions.  I have already started teaching students this art, and have asked them to brainstorm with parents about well-known stories that can tell or put a twist into and then tell.  (For example, telling the story of "The Three Little Pigs" from the wolf's point of view.)  I'm excited to hear what students come up with!
